KCC is based at Ripley park which is located approximately two miles from Topeka downtown, in the county of Shawnee, Kansas, USA. If you are interested in good club cricket either as a player, official, or simply as a spectator we would be delighted to see you at Ripley Park. KCC welcomes all members young and old. KCC is part of Midwest Cricket league(MWCL) , the details of which are at http://mwcl.org/ . The regular season in MWCL stretches from April to August every year and consists of 8 teams for 2009. Our schedule and results for the regular season can be followed in the fixtures section and news section on this website.
The regular season in MWCL involve games which are 35 over a side for 4 points every win. Then we have the playoffs with 10 points for every win and the top four teams become semifinalist to determine the tournament champions. Our best performance was last year(2008) when we narrowly lost in the finals to be the runners up in the league, but we hope to remedy that this year around.
After the regular season , KCC takes part in season ending 20-20 tournaments which usually happens over 2 weekends and is the shorter version of the game. We have an enviable record in T-20 tournaments all across the midwest and also organized a 20-20 tournament in 2007 which was a big success. We have always reached the semifinals of all 20-20 tournaments we have attended and have won the "MWCl 20-20 tournament" in 2006 and 2008 in thumping fashion.
